What is Pigeon?
Pigeon is a tool to track news published on a company's website, it crawls, aggregate and sends structured news emails to interested audience.
Problem it solves.
Whether it is keeping an eye on the strategies of your competitors or preparing yourself for an important customer meeting, it is crucial to know what they are currently doing and keeping track of their news can be a useful first step to prepare yourself.
Why Pigeon?
There are several other services available in the market (like ID, or Owler Pro, Fintech) however, everything is limited in some way or other and we need a consolidated handy information without spending any time in gathering news. We can anytime follow un-follow any company. We can send the updates to an emailing list at our choice.
How to use Pigeon?
1. SignIn quickly.
Sign up is quite easy. All you need is Avant’s Microsoft account.
2. Search a company to be followed.
Search the company which you want to follow in the Search bar. If you don't find the company in search, Please click on "+Add New Company" link and provide the company information. We will add it to Pigeon.
3. Follow the company.
Select the desired company in the Search box to see the company overview. Click on the follow button to follow the company. You can also follow the company by clicking on the adjacent follow icon(right side) in the search bar.
4. Subscribe to daily snapshots.
Click on the "Subscribe" button on "My Portfolio" page to subscribe for daily snapshot email notifications. You can stop your daily subscription by clicking on the "Unsubscribe" button.
5. Daily Snapshots.
Pigeon will send you an email having updates/news of the companies you are following which they have posted in their news site.
The notification email is sent daily at 9:00 AM JST.
6. Add/follow new company.
If the company is not in the search result, it may take up to 5 business days to add and configure the news source for that company, of course we would try to do it as soon as possible.
